Increases the chances of your site getting good ranking, creating a brand name and getting more conversion.

You can do a lot of experiments with the microsite, which you wouldn’t dare to do on your main site.


Cons:

Time consuming.

Your main site does not inherit any link value of the old site.

Too much promotion and linking to your existing domain might look like spamming.
